Position: President & Chief Executive Officer and Director of Mediterranean Resources Ltd. and Chairman of the Company's Turkish Subsidiary - Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S.

Dr. Peter Guest was appointed to the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer on May 31, 2004. At that time, Dr. Guest was also appointed to the Board of Directors. Dr. Guest has extensive senior management, mining, and engineering experience. He has held positions as President and CEO of Gabriel Resources, Iriana Resources, International Dunlap Minerals, and Galactic Resources. Prior to these positions, Peter was President and CEO of MRDI, VP & General Manager of Fluor Daniel Inc. and President of Fluor Chile. Peter has a Masters and Doctorate of Engineering and a Masters in Science from U.C. Berkeley, and an MBA from Boston University.

 
oDr. John A. Clarke
Position: Director of Mediterranean Resources Ltd. and Director for the Company's Turkish Subsidiary - Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S.

Dr. John Clarke has a degree in Metallurgy from the University of Wales (University College Cardiff), a Ph.D from Cambridge University, and a MBA from Middlesex Polytechnic. His industrial experience includes industrial research and the management of pyro-metallurgical, mineral processing and mining operations. He has also managed exploration, strategic planning, and corporate acquisitions in the gold mining sector. Dr. Clarke previously held the position of Vice-Chairman and formerly President and CEO of Nevsun Resources. Prior to joining Nevsun Resources in 1997 he was an Executive Director of Ashanti Goldfields in charge of strategic planning and business development.

 
oIbrahim Guney
Position: General Manager and Director, for the Company's Turkish Subsidiary, Akdeniz Resources Madencilik AS

Mr. Guney has 14 years of extensive experience as an exploration geologist in Turkey where he has been involved in many precious metal, base metal and polymetallic discoveries and is knowledgeable of the precious metal potential of Turkey and surrounding countries. Mr. Guney is particularly knowledgeable in the exploration of epithermal gold systems as those found at both Tac and Corak. His most recent position was as the managing exploration geologist on Anatolia Minerals' (ANO:TSX) Copler project in central Turkey where his duties included responsibility for feasibility drilling, budgeting and planning and regional exploration. Prior to that, Ibrahim held positions as an exploration geologist with Dardanel Madencilik (an Inco Joint Venture) and Cominco Limited in Turkey. Ibrahim holds a Geological Engineering degree from the Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey.

 
oNursel Atar, Esq.
Position: Director for the Company's Turkish Subsidiary - Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S.

Nursel Atar, Esq. serves as the National Legal Expert for the UNEP, National Legal Advisor on Carbon Markets for the UNDP and Senior Consultant at Legisterra Consulting Ltd. regarding Turkish, U.S. and Canadian Federal Laws, New York State Law and Ontario Provincial Law. She is a co-editor of Ankara Bar Review, a law journal published by the Ankara Bar Association. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the New York Bar Association and holds a LL.B degree from Ankara University, a LL.B degree from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University and a LL.M degree from the Touro Law Center in New York. Ms. Atar practiced law in Turkey prior to furthering her education in North America where she later worked as an attorney at an international law firm in New York. Following her return to Turkey, she worked as the chief legal advisor for an international construction company and managing director of a consultancy firm before establishing Legisterra Consulting Ltd.

 
oJesse de la Cruz
Position: Director for the Company's Turkish Subsidiary - Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S.

Mr. Cruz is a qualified CMA (Certified Management Accountant) with more than 10 years experience as controller in junior mining companies with properties in South America, South-East Asia, Eastern Europe and Turkey.

 
oBryan Morris
Position: Director

Mr. Bryan Morris was appointed a director of the Company in April 2004. Until his retirement in August 2003, Mr. Morris worked for Teck Cominco Limited as Vice President, Business Development and was responsible for identifying, evaluating and negotiating acquisitions, primarily in the zinc business. Prior to that appointment he had been Vice President, Finance and Director of Cominco Resources International Ltd., the listed international exploration arm of Cominco Ltd., and had held senior positions in Cominco's finance organization. During his career with Teck Cominco he also served as a director of several subsidiary and associated companies.

Between 1965 and 1974 Mr. Morris worked in Peru for Cerro de Pasco Corporation and Centromin.

He is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and is also a director of Inca Pacific Resources Inc.

 
oPhilip A. Strathy
Position: Director

Mr. Philip Strathy joined FairLane Asset Management in 2005 after a merger with his firm Strathy Investment Ltd. Mr. Strathy had transformed Strathy from a money market advisory firm into a full service investment management company that had assets of over $700,000,000 at its peak. Prior to that he owned and operated Brookside Investments Ltd., a Bahamas corporation offering offshore advisory services to high net worth individuals. Philip has designed and managed innovative specialty pooled funds for Income and Growth and customized fixed income strategies for the segregated accounts of corporations and private clients. Philip brings over 22 years experience in the capital markets. He began his career at AGF Management Ltd. as a portfolio manager.

Philip's Growth Fund has consistently ranked a 4 to 5 star rating by Morningstar. He has appeared on CTV, City TV and BNN as a market commentator. Mr. Strathy is a member of The York Club, The Toronto Golf Club and was past director of the Canadian Dyslexic Foundation.

 
oCheryl A. Harpestad
Position: Corporate Secretary & Office Manager

Ms. Harpestad was appointed to the position of Corporate Secretary in September 2004. Ms. Harpestad has held the position of Office Manager since February 1999. Ms. Harpestad oversees the Company's regulatory filings, corporate governance and administrative functions. Previously worked in various capacities for several mining companies since 1995.

 
oWinnie Wong, CA
Position: Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Wong is the Vice President of Client Services at Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd. ("POCL"). Graduated from Queen's University, Ms. Wong previously worked with Deloitte & Touche where she received her C.A. designation and also worked with Pivotal Corporation. Ms. Wong acts as the Corporate Secretary for Rare Element Resources Ltd. as well as the CFO for a privately owned high-tech company. Ms. Wong was also the CFO for Strategem Capital Corporation.

 
oJohn Walter
Position: Communications Manager, Investor Relations

Mr. Walter is the Founder and President of John Walter Communications Inc., an independent consulting firm dedicated to assisting junior and intermediate mining companies grow to their full potential. Mr. Walter has worked in Engineering departments for a number of Canadian iron ore producers, assisting in all aspects of the mining cycle, from exploration, development and production. Additionally, Mr. Walter worked at numerous international mining locations supervising the construction of large scale open pit mining equipment and providing training to the personnel responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment. More recently, Mr. Walter spent more than two decades in institutional equity sales, including 17 years at UBS and its predecessor companies, providing coverage to institutional clients in North America, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. Mr. Walter graduated from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 1979 with a degree in Mining Engineering.
