Dr. John A. Clarke
Chairman and Director of Mediterranean Resources Ltd. and Director for the Company's Turkish Subsidiary - Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S.

Dr. John Clarke has a degree in Metallurgy from the University of Wales (University College Cardiff), a Ph.D from Cambridge University, and a MBA from Middlesex Polytechnic. His industrial experience includes industrial research and the management of pyro-metallurgical, mineral processing and mining operations. He has also managed exploration, strategic planning, and corporate acquisitions in the gold mining sector. Dr. Clarke previously held the position of Vice-Chairman and formerly President and CEO of Nevsun Resources. Prior to joining Nevsun Resources in 1997 he was an Executive Director of Ashanti Goldfields in charge of strategic planning and business development.


Christopher E. Ecclestone

Chief Executive Officer and Director

Director since January 2011. Mr. Ecclestone is a Principal at the boutique New York investment bank, Hallgarten & Company, which specializes in mining-related concerns. He was the Founding Principal of the Argentine equity research house, Buenos Aires Trust Company, from 1991 until 2001. Prior to his arrival in Argentina, Mr. Ecclestone worked in London as a corporate finance and equities analyst and as a freelance consultant on the restructuring of the securities industry. He has also worked for the Federal and State governments in Australia. Mr. Ecclestone is a native of Melbourne, Australia and graduated in 1981 from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Mr. Ecclestone is the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Rara Terra Capital Corp. on the TSX Venture Exchange, involved the acquisition of rare earth mineral properties in British Columbia and Argentina.


Dr. A. Kerim Sener

Director

Dr. Sener is the Managing Director of AIM-listed and Turkey focused gold exploration company, Ariana Resources PLC (AIM:AAU). He graduated from the University of Southampton with a first-class BSc (Hons) degree in Geology in 1997 and from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, with an MSc in Mineral Exploration in 1998. After working for Independence Gold Mining Pvt. Ltd. (Lonmin Zimbabwe) he completed a PhD at the University of Western Australia, during which time he was also involved in several exploration projects in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. In 2002 he established Ariana Resources and acted as its Exploration Director between 2004 and 2006, becoming its Managing Director in 2007. As a Turkish national, he completed his military service obligations in Turkey in 2009. He is currently based in Izmir, Turkey.

He is a Fellow of The Geological Society of London, Member of The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, Member of the Chamber of Geological Engineers in Turkey and a member of the Society of Economic Geologists. He is a non-executive director of ASX-listed Genesis Resources Limited in Australia.


John Shanahan

Director

Mr. Shanahan is the President and CEO of Revett Minerals (TSX:RVM) ("Revett") since October 2008. Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Shanahan was the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Revett from 2005 until April 2009. Mr. Shanahan's background is in commodity price risk management and he has held senior management positions with Barclays Capital, Rothschild Inc., Pasminco Ltd, and Australian Mining and Smelting. Mr. Shanahan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne, a graduate diploma in Systems Analysis and Design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and an MBA degree from the Columbia School of Business.


Alex Gostevskikh

Director

Alex Gostevskikh MSc MBA, is a geologist with over 20 years of experience in international mining and exploration for such commodities as gold, silver, and non-ferrous and base metals. He has extensive corporate experience through his involvement with a number of listed companies on the TSX and NYSE markets. He is currently the Managing Director of Uranium Resources PLC (which is listed on the AIM in London), the company is an explorer in Tanzania. He was a Regional Exploration Manager for Centerra Gold Inc (TSX listed), the largest Western gold producer in Central Asia and has held other positions including Exploration Manager for Gulf International Minerals, Senior Geologist for Kinross Gold/Amax Gold, as well as consulting engagements with a number of major and junior mineral exploration companies. His past involvements have helped him build a valuable network of contacts in the mining and related industries in Turkey and across multiple regions of Central Asia.


Ann Fehr

Chief Financial Officer

Ann Fehr is the founder of Fehr & Associates with 12 years of senior management experience. Since receiving her CGA designation in 1996, she spent several years providing senior level accounting services to publically traded companies and, in fact, holds CFO positions in several. As such, Ann is specially qualified to assist with management level problem solving and support the CFO/controller function of a company. The majority of Ann's senior management and board governance experience is in the real estate and mining industry, yet she has also worked extensively with tax and year end accounting. She is highly capable and uniquely trained to assist with business planning, budgeting and financing matters.


Cheryl A. Harpestad

Corporate Secretary & Office Manager

Ms. Harpestad was appointed to the position of Corporate Secretary in September 2004. Ms. Harpestad has held the position of Office Manager since February 1999. Ms. Harpestad oversees the Company's regulatory filings, corporate governance and administrative functions. Previously worked in various capacities for several mining companies since 1995.


Hakan Guney

Geological Engineer, Database Manager, for the Company's Turkish Subsidiary, Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S.

Mr Guney is geologist and database manager in the Yusufeli project since 2007. He was appointed to Akdeniz Resources Madencilik from Dama Engineering in January 2009. His most recent position was as the geologist and database manager on Dama Engineering in Yusufeli project where his duties included responsibility of managing project database, quality assurance and quality control of assay data, preparing of annual mining bureau reports, exploration, sampling and loging. Hakan holds a Geological Engineering degree from the Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey.
